How can I delete my LOCAL.ONE user account?

For app accounts:
A user account on LOCAL.ONE can only be deleted through the LOCAL.ONE Android or iOS app. To do this, you need to open the app installed on your device. Through the 'Account' menu, you can access your user account and then delete your account via the 'Delete' option. Confirming the account deletion requires selecting 'Yes.' Your data will be automatically deleted, and you will be logged out of the LOCAL.ONE app.

For website accounts:
If you registered through our website, you can delete your user account directly there. To do so, log in to local.one and go to Settings → Account. In the "Delete Account" section, click the "Delete" button. For security reasons, you will then be asked to enter your password to confirm the deletion—this prevents your account from being deleted accidentally or without your authorization. Once confirmed, your account will no longer be accessible, and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Can I save my data before deletion?

For app accounts:
Through the settings in your "Account," you have the option to request all account data stored by LOCAL.ONE. To do this, you need to open the LOCAL.ONE app on your device. Via the "Account" menu and then "Request account data," you can now request a copy of your customer data. Once the data is available for download, you will receive an email from us. In this email, you can download your user data via the "DOWNLOAD ARCHIVE" link. Just click on the link and confirm your account login once again. Your user account data will now be automatically downloaded.

For website accounts:
You can also request your account data for website accounts before deletion. To do so, go to Settings → Account and select the "Request Account Data" option. Your data will then be sent as a ZIP file via email to the email address you have on file.

How long does it take for my user account to be deleted?

After your request for deletion, your user account will be automatically deleted by the system. This applies to both app and website accounts.
